In making the background picture for the home screens, what file format shall I save it in? No matter how much I alter the contrast, brightness and sharpness of the picture, the resulting image looks blurry in my smartphone. Anyone got any idea?

I do most of my graphics editing in Photoshop. I use jpeg files for animated HS (the static part) while other screens are in gif format.

The only jpeg files in this homescreen are the Start Menu background, missed call screen and static part of HS. The rest are in gif.

mine is jpeg file too. But still coming out fuzzy. I think it might be the picture itself. Thanx for that pzee!
