Guest mikst Posted May 29, 2005 Report Posted May 29, 2005 Hi, Does anyone know if there is a self timer on the camera function on the SPV C500? I had I.A. album installed on my old SPV classic which had self timer function, i tried to install it on my C500 but the installed camera software on the C500 overrides it, does anyone know a way round this? Thanks Mick.

The last thing i want is to ask someone to take a pic for me with my phone then running off with it  .

Thanks Mick. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi! Attached is a CAB installer intended for the C500. Once installed, it will create a shortcut in Start Menu. If you click on the 'cheese' icon, Camera program will launch then take a snapshot after 3 seconds. You have to pose on that 3 seconds 'prep' time. :D Make sure you tick 'Review after capture' under Camera > Menu > Options > General. Do not disable shutter sound. You will know that camera successfully captured photo when you hear the shutter sound. Restart device after installation. Note that utility may not capture on initial launch but will work well once camera program is already running. Thanks to maxh2003 for the AutoSmartphone utility! Is 3 seconds posing time enough? ;)CameraTimer.CAB
Guest mikst Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 Thanks Pzee that works fine. 3 secs is a little quick but at least it works. Maybe someone can come up wth adjusting the time in the registry if it can be done.
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 I'm glad it worked on your phones. I've read feedbacks that it also works on the Feeler. ;) Regarding the capture time, attached are CAB files with 4 and 5 -sec timer.CameraTimer.4sec.CABCameraTimer.5sec.CAB

Guest Sp00k Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Nice One pzee! Great little utility... Handy for taking normal snaps too, gives me chance to steady the camera before taking the pic, it makes an appreciable difference to picture quality, next best thing to a digital stabiliser! :) Kudos to you my friend... And Thank You!
