Contacts/Address book question

Hi

I know the current Smartphone address book is quite extensive, but I think is is missing something quite useful(at least I think it is ;)), nicknames. A lot of my mates are filed under nicknames on the SIM and I would like to display them using that name instead of the first name, last name (formal style - but it would still be useful to hold that info for completeness). I think Outlook has this feature under 'Display As', and another for 'File As'(Which syncs with the phone address book).

Does anyone know if its possible or a replacement/better address book app with this feature?

I tried searching and didn't find anything. If this has been asked before pardon my ignorance :D
