C500 skins on SMT5600?

I downloaded a bunch of the cool skins on here for my SMT5600 (American) and while the C500 is technically the same phone I can't get any of them to work! Is there something I'm missing? Is there a way to get C500 skins to work on an SMT5600?

I'm afraid I don't think so as the plugins to get them to work are in the orange c500 rom. There might be a way to flash the c500 rom to your phone but I don't know how and you'll have to google for that. Also you may not want to lose the benefits of the smt5600 rom, like wmp10. I wouldn't recommend fiddling with flashing a new rom unless you know what you are doing though. If I were you, accept that they don't work and download some other ;) good ones :D that will.

They work fine on mine... These skins should work for ALL smartphones including the SMT-5600, the SPV C500, and a couple others. Maybe you are not installing them correctly on the phone? You're right, a few homescreens don't work exactly like they show but the majority of them do.

Try a couple of Airfagev's homescreens and write back.

Some skins specifically only work on the c500 as they use a plugin within the c500's ROM, those are the ones he means. ;)
