SMT5600 won't charge

My phone's about 7 months old. I plugged it into my pc this morning and came back later hoping to see it charged. I found it completely dead. I haven't seen the slightest bit of life in it since. I've plugged it in to 2 different PCs with 2 different cables both with activesync. I tried blowing dust out of the connector to no avail.

Any ideas?

use the mains charger

the c500 doesnt charge unless its connected via activesync

the smt5600 is same hardware so it should be same

my advice is use the mains charger

The wall charger worked.

FYI - My friend explained that if the battery charge drops too low the usb cable will sometimes not work.
