Guest danmancs Posted May 30, 2005 Report Posted May 30, 2005 Hi, I've got a problem when checking my email on my c500. I have it set to check my pop server, and just download the message headers, leaving me to choose whether to download the rest of the message. The problem is that sometimes when I mark a message for download it downloads the wrong body to the message. which means I have a header for one email and the body of another, usually the following message in the list. and then usually when I look at said following message, it's body is that of the next email on again. Which means that I lose the original email that I wanted until I can get to a computer and download them properly. Has anyone any idea what is happening?? :?: Thanks, Dan.
Guest Chiz Posted May 30, 2005 Report Posted May 30, 2005 Hi Dan I don't know why it happens, but it has happend to me once. I even deleted the e-mail from the phone that the header was attaching itself to but it still showed the wrong body. It will be interesting to see if anyone knows why this is. Chiz
Guest danmancs Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 I think that the problem is the pop mail box not being the same as the inbox on the phone... I think the solution to this is as follows: when you have recieved several message headers, delete the ones which are spam/you don't want. Then, make sure you do a send/recieve. once you have down a send/recieve, you can then mark the ones that you want for download. This should make sure the headers and bodies tie up.

Thanks
