MBAnimPlug reset?!

Hi at all!

First: I can't speak or write english very well, so please... don't kill me ;)

And now my Problem... I found this page an was really happy. A lot of downloads an nice homescreens. Than I found the MBAnimPlug-in, installed it and installed some animated Homescreens (WM2003NokiaStyle etc.)... They look cool, but if I choose an other Homescreen now it changes, but for example the Start-menu and the Start- and shutoff-Screen doesn't change!

Somewhere i read about kind of a "reset-plugin"?! Is there anything like it or what should i do now?!

Aaah.. if got a T-Mobile SDA Music if you need this info ;)

Hope someone can explain what i have to do!! And please... use simple english :D

Hi.

If I got your question right, startup/shutdown screens will change depending on the author's design. That is the advantage of providing an animated screenshot of submitted file plus giving a bit of info regarding what screens were skinned. So, if the author chose to skin the startup/shutdown screens then expect them to change (assuming the correct registry entries were added).

To restore screens to defaults, you can try the CAB file here:

Okay... that's exactly what i was searching for...

But.. how do i use it!? Sorry... I'm a neeby :oops: I put the cab file on my phone, installed it and restarted my phone also. Well... the start-menu (hope you know what i mean!) is the standard again... but startup/shutdown Screen are still from the animated homescreen :?:

I think I'm too stupid for the whole thing ;)

Strange. You should have default screens after CAB file was installed.

Try this:

1. Download attached cab file

2. Copy cab file to \Storage\windows\Start Menu\Accessories

3. Hold phone, hit Start then open Accessories folder

4. Highlight 'SplashDefaults' , press joystick to install CAB file

5. Restart device.

The CAB file will revert startup/shutdown splash screens to default (\Windows\ms_splash.gif)

Well.... the CAB file was exactly what I was searching for!

After installing it and restarting the SDA the homescreen -or better- the Startmenu changed again. =D>

But the startup and shutdownscreen is still the one from the animated homescreen! :??:

Okay.... now I'm confused... after loggin in and out for about 13281624 times my old message appeared and your answer! Strange I think!

This is the default splash screen of C500, isn't it? I hope it is the same for the SDA.
