Antenna Booster?

Anyone have any experience with antenna boosters on the MPX220? I know most of these are cheesy and may be questionable. I have moved to a new location for work and I can get a signal from an area near the windows about 30-40 feet away, but at my desk I get nothing.

If I could get a little boost, I may have enough coverage to get a signal at my desk.

The only ones that I think actually work are in the $500 US range, and they aren't attached to your phone, they're attached to the building, have an exterior and interior antennas. They boost the signal received on the ext ant and rebroadcast it through the interior ant, and vice versa for outgoing signals.
