Contacts-Problem when view contacts

When I first put the simm on my phone I wanted to see my contacts which i did manage when i clicked on contacts and each contact had a simm image next to it meaning they are simm contacts.

Yetserday : i wanted to transfer the contacts from simm to the phone, i managed to do this via simm manager option on the phone.

Problem : now the problem is that when i go to contacts it has duplicated everything meaning : it is showing contacts both from simm and the phone.

How do i get around this ? Please advice

Backup SIM contacts to phone memory first before doing this.

To delete SIM entries (mass deletion)

1. Open SIM manager program

2. Hit Menu > Select All

3. Once all entries are highlighted, hit 'Delete'

Something a bit easier and no deleting so you can keep the numbers on SIM as an emergency try the following.

Settings\Phone\Call Options

then uncheck Show SIM contacts option.

Cheers:I have gone into the simm manager but it only displays the contacts fom the phone over there whereas when i go to contact directly it shows both from sim and phone as mentioned above.

You need to go to the phones Settings and not use SIM Manager (unless you are replying to pzee's post? )

Also what phone do you have?

I have got spv c500 i am using simm manager that is on the phone itself access via phone menu under accesories.
