Guest quanta Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 Is there is any spv version for Splinter Cell.
Guest Pondrew Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 No and I don't think it could handle it either!
Guest mavisdavis Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 Personaly I think it could if it were written specically for the SPV take rebound fro example A great 2d/3d view game and especailly Intersyellar Flames. and that ran ace on the SPV Classic. What I really thnk is a shame is the lack of developers for our devices. Im longing for an orignal game with fresh graphics and ace sound effects. Its just a bloody shame HTC decide on giving our phones 5 way pad/joys/Rockers to play the games we have at present (Phew that almost turned nto a rant)
Guest Pondrew Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 Yeah, I do miss the 8 way + selector on my original SPV. If they released another Smartphone with that fascia (I think there was an HTC Voyager with that front but it never made it over here) I would jump on it (in a good way of course!)
Guest mish78 Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 I have played a java version of splinter cell on my c500 a while ago. only problem is you had to reset the phone everytime you finished playing it. It was that long ago a cant remeber where i got it but it is out there..
Guest MOD-C500 Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 (edited) i hate playing java games on the c500 they dont work very well Edited June 2, 2005 by MOD-C500
Guest mavisdavis Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 Why play java games The graphics are pants and key mapping is virtually non existant. Alot of Smartphone games are around the same price as a java game SO WHY NOT TREAT YA SELF ;)

Guest The Undefeated Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 Yeah C500 supports java, i forget what its called, but the app for it is on your start menu somewhere. It really does suck though
Guest liquidsg Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 Smartphones could most def. handle splinter cell better then any crap normal cell phone with java games. the splinter cell 2 jar i transfered from one of my other phones works but u must reset the phone evry time u wanna quit. it looks 10x better on the smartphone though then it did on the other phone. they should focus more on a spv version of splinter cell cause the game would have more function and far superior graphics.

All their java games are amazing quality, even on series 30 nokia devices they look good! It's a shame they don't develop for the WM2003 devices. They are easily the best mobile applications developer. Or that could be Jamdat (whoever made Worms?)... ;) Edited June 8, 2005 by RT87
