Activesync only syncing selective contacts?!

Hi,

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere - I couldn't find it but I am something of a newbie...

Okay - I have an orange UK m2000 and am trying to use activesync to sync contacts, calender and tasks. Cal and tasks work fine, but it only appears to sync selective contacts and I can't make out how it is deciding which ones to sync. ie - it isn't just syncing the ones with mobile numbers, nor is it proceeding alphabetically and onlt doing a certain number.

The other possibility that occured to me is that maybe it is syncing them all, but only displaying some on the phone?

Can anyone help#?

Try going into ActiveSync, then "Options"

Select Contacts and click "Settings"

You can choose to sync all contacts, selected contacts or categories
