What is it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Branded phones are usually locked so that it can only be used by that provider, sometimes they will also lock some settings. Unlocking the phone will allow you to use the phone sim free on any network and any country that supports the phone and opening the phone to all its settings and options. Cheers, D|W
Guest mavisdavis Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 He may mean application unlock. Its a little like Windows XP Certificates that pop up when your installing software. If you do want to app unlock your phone go >HERE< It's perfectly safe and doesn't kill ya phone. All this will do is allow homescreens and certain software to install things into the registry of the phone and change system screens. Thats all ;)
