weres me wavs gone

ok ive had the c500 for about 7 months and installed the orange updates as they come out.

at the moment the wife is in hospital and i turn off the phone every time i visit her.

when i come back out i turn on the phone and the wavs i have downloaded for the ringtone and alarm clock etc...have all disappeared and the sounds have reset to default ring tones.

when i transfer the ringtones over again from the pc they go in fine....but every time i turn off the phone....there gone.

any ideas anyone....never had this trouble before.

btw....the phone is never turned off for longer than 2 hours...and the battery is fully charged

Are you putting them in the Windows folder ?

This is a common mistake as the ROM rewrites it on reboot.

Put them in \Storage \Application Data \Sounds instead.

yes i was putting them in the windows folder.....long time since i added some

wavs...lol
