Zone alarm and Active Sync

Hi all, after so much annoyance at the problem with Zone Alarm and Active Sync ( not being able to explore the phone whilst ZA is running ) I trawled through heeps of forums, hours of googling and all I could find was I had that problem but now I dont use ZA and all is ok, however I dont see that as problem sorted, for those of you like myself that dont want to go away from ZA, after a lot of mind boggling with the two programs I discovered that Active Sync uses Microsoft Explorer to browse the phone and was being blocked access...

To allow Active sync to work with ZA running, open up ZA navigate to Program control and find windows explorer in the list, click on the X for the access and select the tick to allow connection ( leae the server pane and X - block )

This should solve your problem and you should now be able to connect to your Smartphone/PDA whilst ZA is running.
