Guest poopstah Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 Just as the title says I'm trying to see if I can use the speakerphone with the phone closed, mostly in the interest of extending battery life.
Guest moosery Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 wouldnt have thought you'd be saving much, based on the fact that talking on the phone uses at least a million times more power than just having the phone open. And I dont know how you would do it, since closing the phone hangs up, right? cant you make the screen blank during a call by changing the power saving settings? (havent checked, mind you)

(havent checked, mind you) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're probably right about the power savings, I guess I could just turn down the time the screen stays on to save power that way. However I have a motorola v180 and it can use the speakerphone when it's closed, so I figured this more advanced phone would to. Oh well maybe I'm just SOL =) :?:
