Guest Ardvark Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 When using a phone emulator like SmartNES, is there a way i can transfer the saved game file from my phone to pc and play it on an emulator on my computer?
Guest Jamma14 Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 Very unlikely, you might be able to use the .sav files on one pc emu as I think they are the ones that the nes actually used, but definitely not the .nes.sav files as they are save state files and using the save save state files on different emulators will not work as each emu will write and read different things from the state files to tell it whereabout in the game it is. If smartNES is ported from a PC version of the same emu (which I don't think it is) then you *might* then be able to use them. So in short no. But you could try using the games that have a save option in them to create .sav files and try loading them up in a PC emu if it supports it..
