Is there an easy way of removing dust from underneath the screen of my spv e100?

The only way I've ever managed to solve dust problems was to dismantle the phone to get to it (done on my Original and C500). Haven't been able to find any instructions for stripping an E100, but here's a couple of instructions for the Original and C500 so should be a case of stripping yours based on the techniques shown in these:

Good luck dude.

its a bit of a trick to do and the first time is a nightmare with quite a large possibility of causing damage to the case if you use the incorrect tools.

Good luck if you try it!

well i have a card which used to hold a sim card in but it doesnt look big enough to fit because its thicker that the gap between the casing...

I'd second that! First time you try it just take your time (set aside at least an hour for your first try) and don't ever EVER lose your temper. If you even get the tiniest bit angry with it, that's when something breaks - trust me on this one!!! 8-[

ok i have opened it and it is dust free. i came across this maggot shaped piece of what seemed to be dust inside where the * key is. is this supposed to be there or is it just a piece of dust?

I invested in a leather case - protects the phone from scratches, dust, getting hurt etc!
