Abaxia plugin on non Orange ROM ?

been looking around for this with no definite answer.. :??:

I have an Orange SPV-C500 & recently updated the ROM to the latest Qtek one..

I was wondering :roll: if there was a way to get (download) the Abaxia plug-in so I can get the nice Orange homescreen (that I like a lot) ;)

Hi balaaan,

Some points to consider:

1. Abaxia plugin is intended for Orange units. I am not aware if it will actually work on non-Orange device.

2. In order to try if it will work, a downloadable file should be available BUT the homescreen files are part of \Windows folder. Extracting the files from that folder and distributing them for other's use is questionable, again using the premise: it is not intended for non-Orange device.

Re-distributing the homescreen dll file or a modified version would be illegal.

Thanks for the reply.. =D> My device is infact an Orange SPV-C500.. I just got sick of waiting for Orange :twisted: to release the new UK ROM & decided to opt for the qtek one..

Sad to know that it's illegal to get the plug-in (after all, I did buy an "Orange" device!).. [-(

'Orange device' was a bit vague in my previous statements. It should be emphasized: abaxia plugin intended for Orange device running Orange ROM/firmware. ;)

Alright, I have an Orange C500 running Qtek ROM. Where will I get the homescreen dll?

Maybe when the official ROM update comes out, you can reflash yours to the latest ROM.
