THB Car Kit with TOMTOM Moblie 5.. HELP!

Hi guys..

Bought a THB Car kit about 3 months ago for my C500. works fantastic.. very pleased.. phone mute etc.

anyway.. i got tomtom mobile 5 at the weekend. and thats also the dogs.. problem is when the phone is plugged into the cradle you dont get any voice notifications from tomtom.

i guessed it would be the car kit. looking further at the issue i tried an MP3 through media player while plugged in the car kit.. same problem. no sound. does anyone know a way round this.. the car cradle interfaces with the usb socket for power and a lil jack like the personal hands free mp3 head phones that come with the phone..

im wondering if you could bypass the mute with software or just hook up some wires to the cradle to pick up sound before it gets to the car kits control box? any idead..

thinking about it this would also be great for playing mp3's as the phone is always powered while in cradel..

any help would be great

hi we have the same issue at my company and have got orange/THB and HTC working on this although they have not given a date for a fix if any. It appears that it is an issue with the c500 as this wasnt in their original design spec. Lets hope something is done soon as it would then make it the complete phone for us. Will keep you posted on our progress.
