Guest felixtcpip Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Hey, I've been having this really strange problem with my mpx220 (cingular). I'm able to receive text messages (SMS) without any problem, but for some reason I can't send any. When i hit the send button nothing happens. Also when i click on a message to view it in the inbox a blank screen comes up. I can see the message in the inbox, but nothing when i click. I have older messages that show up fine, but the newer messages just don't work. I have xpressmail running but i doubt thats causing the problem. Anyone have this problem? Any ideas? Thanks! Felix
Guest felixtcpip Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 No one knows...anyways a master reset worked. Was hoping for a more elegant fix, but what the hell. Thanks for reading!
Guest wildmanviper Posted June 30, 2005 Report Posted June 30, 2005 Maybe next time, try to get cingular to send you the settings via SMS since you can recieve them. That would have been a less harsh was to correct the problem rather than losing all the files and contacts in your phone.

Felix <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi I have just (2 weeks ago) started with the same problem  - I don't want to hard set as it took SOooooo long to get the (UK) 02 settings working.... Has anyone any other ideas to sort this?? I have tried taking out the battery, cleaning the sim, forcing the network selection Oh <sigh>... anything I can think of.... The problem *seemed* to start after I clicked "Window CE inbox transfer" to see what it did in Outlook (WHY did I do THAT??) I have BT set up and working fine - if that anything to do with it? Thanks - this is really driving me mad.... Liz
