Guest nigidivitch Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Hello All! Was wondering whether any of you have seen the following message: "Microsoft Outlook is no longer installed, so ActiveSync cannot continue to run. To continue synchronization, reinstall Microsoft Outlook. If you no longer want to synchronize your data, disable synchronization in ActiveSync". It only happened relatively recently when my work computer was formatted and then re-set-up. It has Outlook 2003 installed. This doesn't happen on my home PC, however I don't really use the calendar function at home, and it would be more than useful to have my work calendar on my phone. How can I fix this problem? I don't really think that re-installing Outlook will help as that seems to be what screwed it up in the first place (and it's a big hassle to try and get the IT guys to authorize such a thing)... Anyone have any idea what may have happened in the first place as well as any suggestions as to how to fix it? Thanks
