MP3 Ringtones

I have a C500 with the media player 10, dont no if this affects nething but was wondering if it's possible to assign mp3's a s ringtones?

I am sorry 2 disagree i have a C500 with WMP10 and i can use .mp3 as ringtones ,this "update" is available thanx to the french rom.

Except I use MP3 ringtones on both my 4.1.1.4 English rom'd phones and have done since they were bought!

Other members have referred to wavs & wmas as MP3s.

The files you use as ringtones have .mp3 extension ?

If so, why don't they show up in Settings on my 4.1.1.4 C500 ?

.mp3 ringtones were not available for me either till updated to french rom. :D

If i was to put a french rom on my english phone..am I right in assuming I wouldn't be able to understand anything? lol

It has English as well there is no problem ,but u will lose your warranty ,as an alternative u can use .wma format for ringtones . :idea:

I can advise that if you download the French version this will not invalidate the handsets warranty, I am unable to confirm that the French version will work on a UK handset

In my warranty certificate it says clearly that warranty is lost in cases of unauthorized software intervention ,that's what it says ...

Is french rom something we need to install on the phone with the cable? How do i got by doing so and where can i get it from. My main concern is the language how would i got by dealing with it?
