Guest Blakey Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Hi, Can you connect to a laptop PC from a Pocket PC in such a way as to have your laptop screen displayed on the Pocket PC? I thought perhaps Terminal Services Client might do that but the thing is I want to connect from my PPC to my laptop via nothing more than a BT connection. So, I'm anticipating having my computer switched on in a corner somewhere and me having access to it, remotely, via BT, and being able to control the PC with the PPC. Is this feasible?? Cheers Blakey
Guest zerbo Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 (edited) You can use VNC (a freeware program) to setup a remote desktop ver Bluetooth. Do a search on google for VNC and your device processor, you should find the standard VNC client (that gets installed on desktop or laptop) and the viewer for device (whish is simply copyed over to your device and then ran when you want to remote control). Please note that your Bluetooth network adapter has to be connected!! You install as above then start the service on your machine and set a password. make sure that your bluethooth network adatper is connected. Now your ready to go!! Any problems PM me. Guest Blakey Posted June 16, 2005 Report Posted June 16, 2005 I am trying this on my ETEN m500. But when I use my BT wizard to try and set up Network access on my ETEN it tells me that the ETEN doesn't support the Network Access service. Is that right or is it some setting I've got wrong on my ETEN? And is that the service I should be setting up? Thanks Blakey
