Set voicemail to 1 speed dial

Hi folks,

For some reason my voicemail was not dialling out to Orange, so I went into Accessories > Speed Dials and deleted the 1 speed dial. Then I went into Settings > Phone > Call Options and set the correct number.

Problem is it won't let me assign 1 back to voicemail. Is it possible to reset or add this in some way?

The Speed dial no1 can only be assigned to a voicemail number this is located in Settings\Phone\Call Options.

I'm having the same issue. I deleted the speed dial for voice mail and can't add it because the "1" button is a reserved number. I have the number still entered correctly in \Settings\Phone\Call Options. Did you ever get an answer for this?

Have you tried rebooting the phone?

For some strange reason I lost the SMS number and could not accept incoming calls but a reboot fixed that, so on similar lines a reboot may fix your problem.

Yep I tried a reboot, but the 1 speed dial was still deleted.

I reset the phone using one of the options (as there were other issues like themes that couldn't be removed) and that solved it of course.
