Help with ring tones

Hi guys I have a MPX220 I placed all my downloaded ringtones on my SD card in my documents folder they all appear in the settings menu when selecting a default ring tone but I cant seem to make them appear in the contacts ring tone section where you can assign specific ring tones to specific people how do I make them available ?

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM ON A SAMSUNG I600, I CAN SEE THE TOME BUT IT WONT LET ME HIT DONE TO SELECT IT

Please do not shout when replying to posts.

Unless you alter the registry custom ringtones need to be on the phone and not the storage card.

What folder on the phone must you place them or how do you alter the registry ?

They need to be placed in Storage\Application Data\Sounds

That might be a different problem

There was an issue with BetaPlayer where (if you had it registered to handle WMA or WMV files) it wouldn't let you select the ringtone.

If you have BetaPlayer installed you could check:

Go into BetaPlayer

Options - Settings - Select Page - File Associations

Untick "Windows Media files"
