Caller ID problems

I've trawled through these pages but still can't find a solution to the caller ID problems (name & number not visible or just the number being displayed). Help!

..er, although i've had my spv m2000 for about two weeks now, i've not yet actually received any calls on it so i can't really help you with this issue.

ps. i'm debating whether it's my friends trying to tell me something, or my device being faulty and not putting calls through ! <coughs> :cry:

Why not make a call to your M2000 from another phone to see if it's okay, or am I missing something?

Yeah, it gets hidden by the stupid flashing graphic that comes up. Sometimes, the graphic is below the caller ID info where it's supposed to be, but it also covers it at times.

I haven't added any caller ID photos.

..omg, why didn't i think of that !

apart from phoning myself up, i could also create fake contact names so it'll look like i have loads of friends too ! thanks for the valuable advice mister... ;)
