Guest magic_peanuts Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 When you say 'fit' and 'port/cable', I'm assuming it's a fixed GPS rather than a Bluetooth one? A bit of a shot in the dark, but I had an old wired GPS receiver on my XDA 1 and I seem to remember having to turn off receiving the IR beam: Start > Settings > Connections > Beam This would then free up COM1 to connect the receiver in the Tomtom GPS setup. Hope this helps.
