Guest Fu§ed Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 Hello, I am actally very pissed off... Im going on holiday today and just baught a 1gb SD from MoDaCo... I also baught DVD to MOBILE... and with my old SD i tested the demo (first 2 minutes), worked and uploaded perfectly... When I baught it and baught the SD it will reset the uploader when it gets like 1/4 of the way, just start back to the beginning... It will only let me upload things which are like 20minutes long (simpsons) and will NEVER let me upload anything bigger! Ive tried downloading the newest versian of ActiveSync and everything! I would really appreciate help with this. Chris.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 If you want to have large files on your phone it's best to use a card reader. One trick I use for large files is to keep scrolling the phone's menu as it seems to keep it awake.

Guest dolphinsmile Posted June 16, 2005 Report Posted June 16, 2005 I kow how you feel when you have a little time to get your phone ready with movies, games and music for your holiday. If your going away today then you'll have to pay exta and go to PC world or a local shop that sells an SD card reader. It will cost about £15. If you have an extra day or two try mobymemory.com I got a reader form them for £6 inc p+p I dont like the software you'r using I bought both DVD to Mobile and Mobile media maker. Here are the reasons I think its crap software. It takes upto 9 hours to rip a dvd The final quality is poor and Makayama say that its impossible to get a good picture and good sound together due to the hardwear limitations. Well the great and free PocketDivxEncoder proves that is bullship. There tech support is bad they take forever to get back and never really pinpoint the problems only you a link to an online manual that changes with regularity . Try looking on modaco help for ways to rip your dvds to avi then use PocketDivxEncoder its far better than dvd to mobile. Good luck and have fun on you hols.
