Guest nAmCE Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 Actually there has been an IRC client that works on both SmartPhone 2003 and Pocket PC 2002/2003 devices for over a year (SmartIrc.net). The price is also quite competitive (free :) although featurewise wmIRC looks more polished. Just FYI ... Kim
Guest Vector Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 Just tried this out on my JAM, i like it ;) the tab's are a nice feature
Guest Hax Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 I just installed it onto my C500 but it refuses to connect to a Quakenet IRC server... :'( I'll have a play a bit more later - probably just something I'm doing wrong :s
Guest nedge2k Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 (edited) Still no proxy support for this!? oh and it doesnt work properly on WM5 (cant see any channel msgs) Edited June 10, 2005 by nedge2k
Guest extravagant Posted June 11, 2005 Report Posted June 11, 2005 sounds great, great work too, but its kinda useless since theres no GPS, and GPRS rates are extremely high so I wont be downloading this.
Guest nedge2k Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 Er...GPS!? You do realise GPS is for satelite navigation, not for internet connection...right?
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 No channel messages etc. on WM5 for PPC either. P
