Where do the Cab files go?

That about sums up the question, but to make it a bit clearer.

If I run an active-sync installer on my PC it will tell me to check my phone for more information. I watch the screen and see that it tells me that a download of the Cab file has been completed successfully.

Where does this Cab file get downloaded to, I can't find them on my phone, and I'd really like to make a back up of the Cab.
