No GPRS settings after ROM update Orange->Imate

Hey folks!

I got my Orange M2000 today since my SPV (yes the original one) was getting a little old.

Before installing a lot of stuff i checked for a ROM update and downloaded and flashed to the latest Imate 1.40 ROM.

With my SPV i used other ROM versions too and i could just load a .cab file with the dutch Orange settings and everything would work again.

But this M2000 can't open that .cab file.

Can somebody tell me how to get the "Dutch Orange GPRS" settings back?

P.s. i've seriously been searching for a solution for a couple of hours now. Been through plenty of forums and google-ed a sheetload too. I've read about *99# and tried that but that didn't work and i think that's if you need to use your M2000 as a modem for a laptop for instance. I've also read that you need to take some files out of the original Orange ROM and put them in the Imate rom before flashing?!?! But you can't tell me there is no way of setting up GPRS again if you didn't do that.

Thanks for the reply, but that doesn't help. I can't set those settings anywhere.

Only thing i can change under GPRS settings is PAP or CHAP authentication and Class 8 (4R1T) or Class 10 (3R2T)

ah i see what you mean

to set settings for GPRS go to

Start

Settings

Connections

Connections

Advanced

Select Networks

and then New and you can add it in there ;)
