Guest MrMpx220 Posted June 11, 2005 Report Posted June 11, 2005 well i call cingular because of ongoing volum problem and they are sending me a BRAND NEW 5600...!!! ;) any how what are somethings i should know, or is it pretty much the same as my MPX220? and what is the easies way to get my contact (86 of um') off the MPX and onto the 5600?
Guest Disco Stu Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 I've not actually had my hands on either but I don't think there are any major differences apart from form-factor. THe easiest way to transfer Contacts is by syncing with Outlook.
Guest Grunt11B Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 Yeah, I received my 5600 a few days ago and I must say I like many features, but I miss some of the 220's. And, I really hate the size of the phone, it's just too small. Trying to IM is a pain in the hind quarters.

The size has been a huge change for me. However having a phone that I can hear the people I am talking to, and also being able to actually answer the phone has been a huge plus. ;) The scrolling button is going to take some getting use to as well. The camera is a ton better. Also syncing contacts was a breeze. I transferred 485 contacts with 3 numbers each, and addresses in about 30 seconds via my Outlook and Activesync. I will miss my 220's stylish flip design but I cannot wait around for it to work like it should...
