Guest Xenzo1990 Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 Wow, this is tricky. I really like the looks of the c550, but its not going to have WM5 ;) So do I wait for the i300 (or another WM5 Smartphone), or get it :?: My contract expires in September. What are you guys going to do.

I really want the i300 tho so I may wait untill thats released. But I havent had any replies to my emails to Samsung regarding the release date

I want to get a wm5 phone though. Dont want to be getting c550 when there maybe wm5 phones coming a few months after my contract expires.

Guest C00LH4ND Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 The I300 was featured in Stuff Mag this month with a release date of Q4, 05. Looks a sweet phone with 3 GB HDD and WM5. I know I will be waiting til Nov 05 getting a sense of what opinion is B4 I buy one perhaps.. My advice... Hang on! The SPV is a good phone but with 3GB and WM5 with a Mini SD Wi Fi :??: :??:

Didn't stop it being cancelled...

If you are going to wait to upgrade, then you've got a good couple of months to weigh up how the C550 performs, and gauge if the i300 is anything more than vapourware (well, at least for the UK). By September, you'll probably be in a 'C550 now or C600 in a couple of months' dilemma anyway. :)

I can pay out of my contract which works out at around £80.00 so i will still be quids in and my Boss gave me his Sony S700i phone for free so have a phone until i change. I really miss playing with my C500 :)
