C500 Dead?

I was foolish enough to let my 11yr old son play mobile pool on my C500. Iv'e just picked it up, and the display was blank, thinking he had swithched it off I tried to power it up, but nothing. I then plugged it in to my PC, still nothing, no light or anything. I then plugged it into my mains charger, now the red light is lit but it wont turn on. It's been charging for an hour now but it still won't turn on. Is it dead? or there any keypresses I can try to revive it?

I believe three hours is the minimum for a battery recharge so don't give up hope yet ;)

If there's still no sign of life after that time, try performing a hard reset. If that fails to fix it, sell the child into slavery and buy a new phone with the proceeds. It's only fair, after all.....

Still showing a steady red light after 3hrs plus, tested battery, showing 3.96v but wont switch on. I think I will be buying a one way ticket to Siberia in the morning;-)
