Guest llch_81 Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 i've had my beautiful wm2003 mpx200 for a couple of months now. everything is fine and dandy except the keypads which are too hard / small which hurt my fingers during prolonged msn / sms sessions... just wondering of upgrading to a new smartphone / pocket pc and need some suggestions on something which has a nice big screen, nice big buttons and runs originally on wm2003 onwards... doesn't have to be latest model kinda thing... was looking around the shops in the city and they don't even know what a smartphone is... feedback is much appreciated. by the way, any new models launched yet using the wm2005? cheerios
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 There is nothing out with 2005 at the moment but for compact device with a larger screen try the HTC Magician devices, this includes the iMate Jam, T-Mobile MDA Compact and the C500.

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 The C500 is made by HTC, they also make all the IPAQ and a majority of the PPC phones on the market including the one I mention in my post above.

Guest tendomentis Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 I don't know when it will happen, but I know eventually my MPx200 will become too obsolete to continue using (come and gone perhaps?). I upgrade slowly, so my inclination would be to go to the MPx220 (I just prefer flip phones to candybar phones, but that's a personal preference). It will be a sad day when I deliver the eulogy at my MPx200's funeral though.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 I would have said the 220 but with it's poor history and camera etc I would not ue it as a main phone.
