OTA Application Unlock not working?

Hi,

I'm trying to app unlock my c500 (http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/tccomdef.aspx). Every time I try, i am getting an error about not being able to find my IMEI number (from the web site).

Is it working for anyone else?

Worked fine for me today. Mine keeps locking its self, every like few weeks, so when i need to install a program i have to unlock again. I did it this morning and it worked fine.

Make sure you use the long version of the IMEI.

The number on the box is missing the last 2 digits. Get the full version from pressing #*06# on the keypad.

Also there will be an email link to let you submit your IMEI for them to enter on the Orange database.

thats odd then. I did use the *#06# IMEI, and, furthermore, all the form details were saved from the other day (when it did work) (new firmware = relocked).

New firmware can't be affecting their system though- it's their web application says it can't find my IMEI.

The orange register software they let you download doesn't seem to work. It says it's registering, and tries to make a GPRS connection, but does absolutely nothing after that.

That's all it does - registers your IMEI.

After that, the OTA process should work but doesn't always work first time.

i had a few probs with unlocking and getting the cert.cab file to install i did a reset all on the c500 and wham everything worked 1st time .the only prob is now i forgot to save all my stuff . lost the lot so back up ya phone b4 you do this
