How to change T9 dictionaries or language chars?

Well, I'm about to buy motorola Mpx220 EU version that supports many languages but I suspect it doesn't support greek that I need. So, is there a way to make changes to the phone (e.g. in the registry or manipulating files) so as to make greek characters available in the input methods?

For example, could I change one of the languages, e.g. Spanish that I won't use, and change its characters with greek characters so that when I select Spanish input mode, I can input greek characters instead of spanish characters?

Could I also do the same thing for T9 dictionaries? That is: Could I change one language's T9 dictionary with a greek one (I have a Smartphone 2003 smartphone that supports greek T9 so maybe I could copy it from this smartphone to mpx220?) ?

Any help appreciated!

Is it possible to send me the T9 Greek DLLs from your smartphone. There is a way to update your new smartphone to include Greek T9 but you have edit the registry. Let me know if you need details. Thanks

First, you need to have a registry editor: (See attachement)

1) Copy the Norwegian dll (T9NorwegianLdb.dll) in \Storage\Application Data\t9\

2) Using the registry editor, edit the following: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\T9 Input Method\MUI\Languages with the Norwegian language code (0414) by seperating the included values with commas (,)

3) Using again the registry editor, edit the following: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\T9 Input Method\LDBs. Go to "Menu" -> "New Value" -> "String" with:

Value: 0414

Value Data: \Storage\Application Data\t9\T9NorwegianLdb.dll

After that, in SMS you should see in your T9 menu all the supported languages including the Norwegian.

Please note that I did thatt on a Smart phone with Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003.

Please let me know if you need any additional details

go to write new message window - long press the * button go under T9 dictionaries/settings & make the relevant changes.

You can add/delete words.

Can you guys check in your smartphone to see if you have the T9GreekLdb.dll. There is a good chance you will find it in a European smartphone and then copy it out and send it to me.
