Guest carmel Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 Can anyone tell me what is going on here? (and how to fix it ) I lost my GPRS settings after doing a hard reset. I have reinstalled them many times and using a variety of sources. I have used the settings repository on this site. I have downloaded them from O range's website and I have rung those helpful folks at Orange and got them to send them by text. Each time I get new settings they work, briefly. Typically they work so that I can send one photo message or access internet explorer for one session. If I disconnect, then next time I try to access IE.....zilch. I get an error message stating... "cannot connect...ensure you have network coverage" . Orange cannot offer an explanation or a fix .
Guest Disco Stu Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 Sounds like typical Orange to me. I think when I had either the original SPV or the E200 I pretty much had to restart the phone every time to get a new GPRS connection. Their mainframe is notoriously flakey.
