Synchronising, sychronising, sychronising on reset

Every time i perform i soft reset i get a message and progress bar saying, synchronising contacts, then synchronising appoitments, synchronising tasks (and pos a few others). As such it takes a while longer to startup than normal.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Have you turned on "Permanent Save"? If you go into the settings then System tab, click permanent save and see if the boxes are ticked.
