Hello all.

Apologies for starting a new topic on this.

Can anyone point me to an idiot’s step-by-step guide for installing media player 10?

(The French one). Or english if there is one. ;)

Short answer is that you either go to Orange France's website and download and install the ROM update or wait for Orange UK to release it.

You can't get WMP10 on your phone otherwise.

Hello stu yes I understand where to get it from its just the installing/flashing the rom what ever one would call that I'm not clear on.

How do I get the software onto the phone.

PS I have tried every way that I know of to get activesync to work but it wont can you help?

Orange level 3 cant so your my only hope otherwise it will be a new install of xp.

ActiveSync is not my strong point but I'm sure Will or another expert will sort you out in the other thread.

Installing ROMs is easy when you get AS up and running. Make sure you have a fully-charged battery, connect phone and double-click the ROM file PC-side.. They come with full instructions and there will probably be a PDF guide to download from the operator site.
