Im using virtual dub at the moment and using clint eastmans settings. Now it compresses everything fine and saves the file to the folder but when i play it all i get is sound, no picture and the file is like 3.5mb for a 20min show? any idea what i could be doing wrong Appreciate any help guys thanks benh
Guest martin Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 According to the output file size it does seem like you're not actually coding the video. It's hard to say where the problem is though. What format is the source video ? What model of phone do you have and what playback software are you using ?
Guest Confused Stu Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 I used to use VirtualDub, then found PocketDivxEncoder and haven't looked back! It's a free download on this site: http://divx.ppccool.com/langue.php?lang=EN...4f9ad4f1f424a1a It's a pretty basic "rip DVD onto hard drive, run PocketDivxEncoder, job done!", but it works, it's easy and an episode of Family Guy comes out about 30-35Mb each. I've got all the series in Smartphone format on a few CD's and just change the ones on the phone once I'm bored. Good choice of viewing material, by the way! ;)
