TomTom Mobile 5, MPx220 and non TomTom GPS

Hi everybody:

I'm trying for a few days to run TomTom Mobile 5 with my new MPx220 and a non TomTom GPS receiver. Well, I did several many different configurations, tests, etc, and I did not get working this.

TomTom says "no GPS found". I paired mi MPx220 with my GPS Bluetooth, choose a non Tomtom GPS device from the menu (Mine is a Leadtek 9537), but I did not hace luck.

Does anybody know how to get working this with MPx220?.

Hello, try renaming your device as TomTom Wireless GPS and then select non tomtom gps device. I had this problem with a c500 and this cured it.I think on the new tomtom gps they have changed the name slightly. Good luck.

Hi!

I tried to rename the GPS name with the one you say, but didn't work. ;) I noted when I renamed my GPS LEadtek to "TomTom Wireless GPS", that the GPS was deleted from my BlueTooth devices when I run TT5. Then I need to add again the GPS with that name, but don't work, and again and again the GPS is deleted when I run TomTom Mobile 5

I only can tell you that my MPx220 has the Firmware 1.150.0.0

My GPS is a Bluetooth Leadtek 9537

TomTom Version is 5 Mobile.
