Perfect Case ?

I've seen them cheap on eBay. Looks nice and slim. No SD pockest though, so no use for me (I like to carry my WiFi sd in the card). ATM, I am using the default case that came with my Mini (perfect for my needs, and FREE!)

Mine arrived yesterday. Works great. Much butter than my silicon case which was a nightmare to get in and out of my pockets. I keep two memory cards in the front screen cover. It seems to be very well put together too.

Yep I do wanna buy one !!

But it seems I am almost developing a collecting fetish for JAM cases !!

Yet still haven't found the "perfect" one and my Credit Card is almost maxed out now :D

If I can pick one up cheap it would be cool ........ anybody wanna buy a dozen differant JAM cases from me ;)

OK !! I'm gonna go for it !!

Just a few quick questions though .....

1) Is the front cover solid so it can fully protect the screen - or is it just flexible leather ?

2) Is the front cover closed by a Velcro catch ?

3) Can the front cover be folded back completely when open ?

4) Does the case fit tightly around the JAM ?

5) Are the holes/cutouts accurate ?

6) Is the belt attachment sturdy ?

7) Is the stitching strong or likely to come loose ?

8 ) Is it made of genuine Leather or imitation ?

9) Am I asking to many questions about a trivial little phone case ? :D

Leather with a plastic insert

No, by a magnet on the side.

3) Can the front cover be folded back completely when open ?

Yes

4) Does the case fit tightly around the JAM ?

Yes.

5) Are the holes/cutouts accurate ?

Yes, but after time the top moves slightly adrift to the right. This is because of there's more side panel at the right than the left. Not a major problem though, just me being super critical.

6) Is the belt attachment sturdy ?

The clip is fine, but, as with many cases, it has a single point of failure - the screw thread, so depends how confident you are that its always tightly in and not fatigued. I don't use it.

7) Is the stitching strong or likely to come loose ?

No signs of it yet.

8 ) Is it made of genuine Leather or imitation ?

Leather.

9) Am I asking to many questions about a trivial little phone case ? ;)

Not at all. It's a long quest to find the right one for you. I've bought several since (Silicon, Clear PVC, Clear Polycarbonate), but keep going back to this. Plus - because you can use it with the flap closed, it disguises the phone from thieving chavs when you're out at night, and keeps your skin grease off the screen.

Hopefully this will be the last case I buy now - and surprisingly one of the cheapest compared to most of the others I got !

Wait ..... apparently the JAM 2 will have a built in keyboard ...... guess I'll be back case-hunting in a few months again !!

Just got my MDA compact so I'm off on the quest for the perfect case. Was looking at the proporta crystal one... but it's out of stock at the moment. This looks pretty good to me.
