Voice Notes interruptions!

I use the Voice Notes recorder (the standard one that comes with Smartphone 2003) for recording interviews for my studies.

Unfortunately, there are times when I've missed the latter part of an interview because a phone call or an SMS has come in, or a reminder or alarm has gone off, without me noticing.

Is there a way of making the Voice Notes recorder uninterruptible??
