tomtom 5 postcode

has anyone out there upgraded from tomtom3 to 5 cause you're supposed to beable to use the postcode search if you do not know the street and stuff.

but when ever i select this option there is not a "done" button, you still have to input roads and street names which defeats the purpose :roll:

i am wondering if this is only the case with the upgrades and not the tomtom5 final pack, which i didn't think had been released.

i've googled my problem and other people have the same hic up as me.

with a gps system i see this as a major boo boo on tomtoms part, i mean how can you advertise this feature when it does not work :shock:

erm yeah i'm answering my own post...

if anyone else has this problem you have to create a tomtom folder on your cf/sd card then it works. ;) . Also for some strange reason on cd1 it might not down load a zip file folder with Great_Britain.Postal inside and you need that plus the empty tomtom folder
