its there a theme generator/editor for the c500 so that i can for example change the date and time text colour?

i also cant remove a desktop theme which is on the phone. can anyone help?

The only editor I know of is the not so good MS Smartphone 2002 Theme Editor (free from microsoft)

Colours can be changed and you can change the text colour on some screens.

There is a cab file on this site that will reset your extra screens to default. It used to be a sticky post in the customisation forum, but if you search you'll find it.

I have not found a better editor yet.... ;)

what about removing desktop themes. it was on the fone when i got it (2nd hand) and when i go on the menu the theme is on there. i want it off.

Try this

you can usually remove homescreen by going to setting-remove programs

if not they are stored in \Storage\Application Data\Home

and you can just delete the files!

It needs Microsoft Framework in order to run ,do u have it installed on your PC ?

I am running XP Media Center with SP2 ,and Ruttensoft works like a charm ,i also have installed Service pack 1 for Microsoft Framework .It worked b4 it as well .Try reinstalling the application .

It worths the money ,it is way more personalizable than Microsoft .I am using it and i am very pleased . :)

I haven't got to try it yet....might be a couple weeks, have too many irons in the fire...I will let you know soon as I do as I would like something better than microsoft...but this new one...how easy is it to use??

cold_fire, just to let you know I've tried the trial version...and I do have xp with net framework, and there's also another net framework that's the same but it says something about quick fix or something...looks like a patch. The trial will let me do a screen or theme but says there's an error when I click on publish or upload. Is this because I have the trial version?
