Water + electronics... not good.

From your account, it looks like the phone is stuck in canary mode. now this could be just a simple short circuit of your "rec" button, or it could mean something much much worse.

But let's hope for the best.

But there is hope. since it is rain and not sea water (which is very corrosive to most metals) you can try to open up your phone just until you can see most of the main board and circuitry (you don't need to disassemble it to 500 tiny parts) and give it a good dose of blow drying. make sure all moisture is gone and then blow dry a few more minutes just for good measure. Then try to start it up.

Note, don't blow dry the case, nor have the blow drier too close (about 10 inches away should be good) or you'll risk warping the plastic parts.

I'm not 100% sure if this will work, but there has been an actual documented case of an HP Laserjet printer that was submerged in about 3 feet of flood water. That's what they did. Then changed the toner, plugged it in and what do you know, it works fine.

Omg .. It Worked ! I can't believe it survived a night in the water...

Well, some buttons are a little "hard" to press, but it's workin. Didn't even need to open it up, I just put it on the Radiator of my car for about 5min and ... it's good to go ;)

Thanks anyway ! xoXOxo ;P
