Guest Alex_le_brit Posted June 16, 2005 Report Posted June 16, 2005 I was just looking at the registry on my SPV Classic - Smartphone 2002, and I see there are PCMIA drivers built in including [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\PCMCIA\Socket-CF+_Personal_Network_Card-6C76] Why would these drivers be there when we don't have a PCMIA slot? And is there any way these could be exploited?
Guest nedge2k Posted June 16, 2005 Report Posted June 16, 2005 I would assume because the original Smartphone OS was based on PPC OS and probably still is today. Not i that i can think of a PPC with a PCMCIA slot but it the only explanation i can think of.
