Disable blinking led indicator on smt5600?

Hey,

I just traded my MPX220 with Cingular for the Audiovox smt5600. First, I must say, the smt5600 is AWESOME.

I have only found one problem, and frankly I find it to be the most annoying thing EVER.

There is a blinking LED indicator on the phone. I can't seem to find how to disable this blinking. I have searched the net, forums, and manual.

Anyone know how to disable this blinking light before I jump out of my first story window?

There was another forum here to change the blinking on different events, so I do think u can change it. I'm not exactly sure but I'm pretty sure its somewhere in the reg, sorry I cant be more specific. anyone else?

Anyone figure this out yet? I continue to search without any success.

Unfortunately you can not disable the LED from flashing as far as I know.
