Rings not working after Rom update

i just updated my rom to ver 1.40 (i think... whatever the latest is on o2 site) and now many ringtones dont work including some that were preinstalled

the rom is also apparently able to let me add mp3 rings but it doesnt

really frustrated atm... i want my ringtones back... at the moment im stuck with the bloody windows default

well i tried hard resetting and they work now.... problem might have been the xBackup doing the restore so im trying the restore again... if it is that then looks like i'll sync everything and H-reset again... then install 120MB of programs all over again ;) looks like i'll loose all my saves on video strip poker2 tho :D

Hi,

I would have thought it would be a bad idea to do a full backup restore after upgrading the rom version because critical files, the registry etc would be replaced with older versions by the restore..
